Our Story
Foster The Light was born from of a spark in my heart after finalizing the adoption of our youngest child and closing our family’s foster care license.
I desired to stay connected to the foster care community as well as find ways to support and celebrate people and organizations doing good (Fostering The Light) in our world.
Fueled by a phrase our family lives by - “SHINE JESUS!” - and my former professional work with high-risk families and youth, my goal is to continue to bring awareness, advocacy and support to those that are often forgotten.
